In Germany for the launch of the German-language edition of the Bruno Cookbook - the English language version is coming soon - I found a poster promoting the book with a giant photo of me. I had to pose alongside my Brobdingnagian likeness...

And you are quite correct - it should be Charles Trenet. Thank you!

Just finished "The Resistance Man." Terrific read, particularly as we spent some time in the Dordogne a few years back. Lovely to read familiar place names such as Les Eyzies with its Les Glycines where we had lunch one day, St. Cyprien where we rented a house....Always interested in WW 11 and its shadows. I had no difficulty keeping track of the male characters but felt there were perhaps too many female ones. It is to be hoped that dear Bruno sorts out his "amours" and narrows the field in following books.

I'm glad the book brought happy memories to mind! But I don't know if I can promise that Bruno's love life will ever be straightforward, much as he wants an uncomplicated love...

No English language dates yet for any country, I'm afraid, although we are working on it.

Please tell me there is an english language version (UK or USA) of the bruno cookbook. I have been scouring your website, amazon, politics and prose, and the strand website to find a copy. So...Has it been published in english yet???

Not yet, I'm afraid - it's still bogged down in image rights...

In the hopes that it will help convince your publisher that it's worth it: Please publish Bruno's Cookbook in English!!

I'm afraid not, but we're about to publish the second one in German and the English publishers are finally talking about issuing one or both in my mother tongue. I'll update here as soon as I know more.

How can I currently purchase an English language Bruno cookbook? I can’t seem to find any sources on line or through your website.
